About Biology 101
Biology101.org is a resource for students of biology providing freely available study guides, flash cards and practice questions for commonly studied, fundamental biological concepts. The goal is to provide resources that describe biology in a visually appealing and interactive manner to engage students and provide a supplement to standard text based explanations. The material should be helpful to high school and college students as well as those reviewing for exams such as the MCAT. The pdf study guides found on this site are available for distribution under a creative commons license. Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 3.0 United States License.

Biology101.org was created and is mantained by Anthony D'Onofrio who earned a B.S. in Biology from Boston College
and a Ph.D. in Biology from Northeastern University.
Dr. D'Onofrio is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at Mount Ida College in Newton, MA. He has taught Genetics at Boston College and conducted research as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Antimicrobial Discovery Center at Northeastern Univeristy.
