About Biology 101

Biology 101 is a resource for students of biology providing freely available study guides, flash cards and practice questions for commonly studied, fundamental biological concepts. The goal is to provide resources that describe biology in a visually appealing and interactive manner to engage students and provide a supplement to standard text based explanations. The material should be helpful to high school and college students as well as those reviewing for exams such as the MCAT. Dr. D'Onofrio has taught Genetics at Boston College as Adjunct Faculty and conducted research as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Antimicrobial Discovery Center at Northeastern Univeristy. He is currently a Scientist at a Biotech in the Boston area. He has taught several other biology courses including Introductory Biology at Mount Ida College and Microbiology and Genetics at the Northeastern University College of Professional Studies.
